Back from Riga

Our trip to Riga was successful! We saw a lot, we heard a lot of interesting facts of history and legends, and we had a lot of free time as well. Everyone enjoyed the trip! I bought on the Christmas fair a nice souvenir for Kev whose birthday is pretty soon. Don't hope I'll tell what it is!

This morning I went to the police to renew my ID. First I thought of renewing my ID-card only but later decided to have a new passport either. You never know when you may have an opportunity to travel in some country which doesn't belong to the EU. I was amazed how well-organized was the procedure in the office! Times have really changed. Ten years ago everything went smoothly too but now... just great!!!

 We were told that there really are blue cows in the south of Latvia! We found one in downtown of Riga.
